The most wonderful time of the year has arrived, and London is aglow with festive lights and spirited events to make your holiday season truly magical. Let's explore some of the exciting activities and celebrations taking place in the Forest City.
Lighting of the Lights at Victoria Park
Kickstarting the season is the annual "Lighting of the Lights" at Victoria Park. Join the city in a two-hour celebration on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The official lighting ceremony, scheduled for 6:50 p.m., will transform Victoria Park into a winter wonderland, with over 75,000 lights illuminating the park nightly until the end of February. Enjoy holiday performances, carolers, the London Symphonia, and the Rockin' Reindeer featuring Doug and Bizz Varty. The event pays tribute to the late firefighter Captain Chris Bruinink, with a special switch-flipping by his family.
